Job Description

Category Pharmacy•Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A leading healthcare facility in Madison, WI is seeking three experienced clinical pharmacists to join their inpatient pharmacy team for a 13-week contract starting June 29. This opportunity offers varied shifts to match different lifestyle preferences and provides hands-on experience within an acute care environment.
Schedule:
One Day Shift:
6:30 AM•3:00
PM One Mid Shift:
11:00 AM•7:30
PM One Evening Shift:
2:30 PM•11:00 PM All shifts are 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, with rotating every third weekend
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient setting Apply pharmacokinetic dosing principles and adjust renal dosing as needed Monitor therapeutic medication levels and manage drug shortages effectively Provide pharmacotherapy management tailored to medical problems Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and communication
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient or acute care pharmacy experience Proficient in pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments Experience with therapeutic medication monitoring and managing drug shortages Licensed pharmacist in Wisconsin; ACT-10 license accepted Ability to work within the specified shift schedules and weekend rotations
Additional Information:
Travelers must be clean-shaven for mask fit testing; alternative respiratory protection (CAPRs/PAPRs) will not be allowed, nor personal devices accepted Scrubs will be provided upon start date This contract role is ideal for pharmacists seeking to leverage acute care expertise in a dynamic inpatient environment.
