Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Madison, WI is seeking three inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting June 8. The opportunity involves working a mix of day (6:30 AM-3:00 PM) and evening (2:30 PM-11:00 PM) shifts, five 8-hour days per week, with rotating weekends every third week.
Location:
Madison, Wisconsin Schedule:
5 shifts per week, 8 hours each Day shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Evening shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Rotating every third weekend
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services within an acute care setting Perform pharmacokinetic and renal dosing Monitor therapeutic medications and manage pharmacotherapy for various medical conditions Address drug shortages responsibly Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system effectively Maintain compliance with licensing and facility policies
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience Experience in inpatient/acute care and specialized dosing practices Licensed pharmacist in Wisconsin; ACT-10 license is accepted Ability to pass a Fit Test which requires being clean-shaven for mask seal (CAPRs and PAPRs not allowed)
Additional Information:
