Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A leading healthcare facility is seeking three experienced inpatient pharmacists to support their team in delivering exceptional patient care. This 13-week contract position offers an opportunity to contribute clinical expertise in a dynamic hospital environment, utilizing an EPIC electronic medical record system.

Middleton, WI (Madison area)
Schedule:
Rotating shifts: Mix of days (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) and evenings (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) Five 8-hour shifts per week Rotating every 3rd weekend
Key Responsibilities:
Provide pharmacotherapy management for acute care patients Perform pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments Monitor therapeutic medication levels for safety and efficacy Manage drug shortages and optimize medication use Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Document clinical interventions and patient care activities in the EPIC system
Qualifications:
Active Wisconsin ACT-10 pharmacist license accepted Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient/acute care experience required Proficient in therapeutic medication monitoring, pharmacotherapy, and dosing protocols Familiarity with hospital drug shortage management processes Ability to adhere to facility-specific safety protocols, including mask fit testing (travelers must be clean-shaven to pass fit testing; no CAPRs or PAPRs allowed)
