  • Full-time, PRN Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. This role involves collaboration with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes, as well as providing education and support to patients regarding their medications. Responsibilities Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements. Conduct medication therapy management, including assessing patient medication regimens for safety and efficacy. Provide patient counseling on medication administration, potential side effects, and drug interactions. Collaborate with healthcare providers in acute care settings to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily operations. Ensure the pharmacy maintains compliance with all health and safety standards, including aseptic techniques for IV infusion preparations. Stay current with advancements in pharmacotherapy, particularly in pediatrics and acute care. Requirements Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) degree from an accredited institution. Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred, along with knowledge of anatomy relevant to medication administration. Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and pediatric medication management is highly desirable. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
