Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Racine, WI is seeking experienced inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting June 8. This role demands strong clinical pharmacy skills to support acute care patients in a dynamic inpatient setting.
Responsibilities include:
Managing pharmacotherapy for diverse medical conditions Applying pharmacokinetic and renal dosing principles Monitoring therapeutic medication levels Handling drug shortages effectively Utilizing EPIC electronic medical records for patient care documentation Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize medication use
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient or acute care pharmacy experience Licensed to practice pharmacy in Wisconsin (ACT-10 license accepted) Competence in therapeutic medication monitoring and pharmacotherapy management Experience with
EPIC EMR
system preferred
Schedule:
Rotating 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each Mix of day shifts (6:30 AM-3:00 PM) and evening shifts (2:30 PM-11:00 PM) Rotation includes working every third weekend
Important Notes:
Travelers must be able to shave properly for mask fit testing; no exceptions allowed regarding the use of personal PAPRs or CAPRs Scrubs will be provided upon start This is an excellent opportunity for clinical pharmacists with inpatient expertise to contribute to quality patient care in a supportive environment.
