Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A hospital inpatient pharmacist position is available for a 13-week contract starting June 8 in the Sun Prairie, WI area. This opportunity requires a Wisconsin ACT-10 pharmacy license, which is accepted for this role. The schedule includes a mix of day (6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and evening (2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) shifts, working five 8-hour shifts weekly with rotation every third weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide pharmacotherapy management and medication monitoring in an inpatient/acute care setting Apply pharmacokinetic and renal dosing principles to optimize patient care Manage drug shortages effectively and ensure continuity of medication supply Utilize
EPIC EMR
system for accurate documentation and communication Collaborate with healthcare team members to improve therapeutic outcomes
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience Wisconsin pharmacy license with ACT-10 status Proficiency in pharmacotherapy for medical problems and therapeutic medication monitoring Ability to comply with fit-testing requirements; travelers must be clean-shaven to pass mask seal testing (no CAPRs or PAPRs permitted) Strong communication skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced hospital environment
