Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for experienced inpatient pharmacists with at least two years of recent inpatient experience to support a hospital setting. The role offers a mix of day and evening shifts, with a rotating weekend schedule, providing a dynamic work environment in acute care pharmacy practice.
Location:
Verona, WI (Working onsite at a hospital facility in the Madison area)
Schedule:
5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
Days:
6:30 AM - 3:00
PM Evenings:
2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Rotating every third weekend
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy care including pharmacokinetic and renal dosing Conduct therapeutic medication monitoring and management of drug shortages Implement pharmacotherapy management for diverse medical conditions Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and medication dispensing Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Valid Wisconsin Pharmacist License (ACT-10 license accepted) Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient/acute care pharmacy experience Proficiency in pharmacokinetic and renal dosing Experience with therapeutic medication monitoring and managing drug shortages Familiarity with
EPIC EMR
system Ability to fit and wear a mask for mandatory Fit Testing (no exceptions for alternative respirators)
Additional Information:
Scrubs will be provided upon starting the assignment Candidates must be willing to comply with infection control protocols, including facial hair restrictions to accommodate mask seal requirements Only candidates located more than 70 miles from the facility will be considered for this contract If you meet these qualifications and are ready to take on a challenging role in an acute care hospital, apply now to be considered for this 13-week contract starting June 8.
