Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in Wisconsin is seeking Clinical Pharmacists with a strong background in inpatient care to support their pharmacy team on a 13-week contract. This role is ideal for pharmacists who excel in a fast-paced, acute care environment and are skilled in pharmacotherapy management and medication safety practices.
Location:
Waukesha, WI Schedule:
5 shifts per week, 8 hours each Mixed shifts: days (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) and evenings (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) Rotating every 3rd weekend
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical pharmacy support for inpatient and acute care settings Perform pharmacokinetic and renal dosing assessments Conduct therapeutic medication monitoring and manage drug shortages Apply expert pharmacotherapy management for various medical conditions Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and communication
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience Licensed pharmacist with
WI ACT-10
license eligibility Comfortable with mask fit testing requirements; must be clean-shaven to seal for fit testing (no CAPRs or PAPRs allowed on-site) Experience with inpatient and acute care pharmacotherapy and medication management
