Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract An 80-bed community hospital in Lander, WY is seeking a skilled pharmacist to provide coverage for a 13-week leave. This contract position offers day shift hours and the opportunity to work in a collaborative hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and process medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily operations Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize medication therapies Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring as needed Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Previous hospital pharmacy experience highly preferred Wyoming pharmacist license preferred; temporary licensing assistance available if needed Strong clinical and communication skills to effectively consult with healthcare teams Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting Commitment to patient safety and high-quality pharmacy care
