Make a Difference The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the provider of an ambulatory health care site with facilitation of patient visit and procedures, routine laboratory tests, referrals, and quality outcomes for the population of the practice. As an MA, you will also get to actively participate in Network quality initiatives regarding best practices. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving. Graduate/certificate of completion from a recognized medical assisting program OR a High School Diploma/GED + one year of medical assistant experience in a physician practice within the past three years. Medical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire Submit and manage electronic prior authorizations Insurance fax handling Document indexting Monitor and respond to messages and requests in the Epic InBasket Work queue management Maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and staff Why Community?
