Job Description

The Associate Chief, Acute Care Pharmacy Service is responsible for •managing and supervising the inpatient section of Pharmacy Service. Responsibilities include the management of multiple programs, including oversight of the inpatient clinical phannacy program, emergency department clinical pharmacy program, inpatient distributive pharmacy (inclusive of investigational drugs), and inpatient controlled substances.
Qualifications:
Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.

United States Citizenship:

May qualify based on being covered by the Grandfathering Provision as described in the VA Qualification Standard for this occupation (only applicable to current VHA employees who are in this occupation and meet the criteria).
Grade Determinations :
The grade determination for this announcement is GS-14.
Preferred Experience:
Applicant to have current or previous Veterans Health Administration (VHA) experience.
