Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Retail Pharmacist to oversee pharmacy operations, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and provide exceptional patient care. The pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients, managing inventory, supervising pharmacy staff, and supporting business growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
Active California Pharmacist License Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.

D. from an accredited pharmacy school Current BLS Certification Knowledge of California and federal pharmacy regulations Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff
Key Responsibilities:
Review, compound, and dispense prescription medications accurately Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and storage Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns while maintaining legal staffing ratios Ensure compliance with quality assurance, controlled substance, and hazardous waste procedures Manage prescription processing, inventory control, and third-party insurance claims Resolve medication-related issues and report prescription errors per policy Build strong relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, and patients Maintain pharmacy policies, regulatory compliance, and continuing education requirements Support customer service initiatives, pharmacy programs, and retail operations Assist in maximizing pharmacy performance while controlling operational expenses

$2,680.00 - $2,926.00 per week
