ASAP Key Responsibilities:
Accurately compound and dispense prescribed medications, ensuring quality and compliance with regulations. Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriate formulas. Supervise pharmacy staff in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals. Advise patients on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage when counseling is accepted. Maintain security of controlled substances and oversee proper disposal of hazardous waste. Manage pharmacy records, patient data, inventory, and third-party prescription system issues. Train and guide pharmacy interns and technicians in compliance with legal ratios. Foster strong working relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals. Implement loss prevention policies and contribute to maximizing sales while controlling expenses. Continuously pursue professional development to stay current with industry standards and regulations.Desired Qualifications:
Licensed pharmacist in the State of California. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education.
