LTAC Hospital Job Description Soliant is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager for a contract-to-hire opportunity at a 90-bed long-term acute care hospital. This leadership role offers the chance to oversee pharmacy operations while remaining clinically active in a collaborative inpatient setting. The ideal candidate brings both strong management experience and a commitment to quality patient care. Responsibilities Oversee daily pharmacy department operations, including staff scheduling and workflow management Supervise and support pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians Perform clinical and dispensing duties as a practicing pharmacist Develop and implement processes to ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance Lead performance improvement initiatives and optimize departmental workflows Serve as a resource for staff education, onboarding, and standard operating procedures Skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Excellent communication and collaboration skills Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance practices Ability to balance administrative and clinical responsibilities Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Qualifications Active California Pharmacist license Licensing assistance may be available if needed Prior pharmacy management or leadership experience required Experience Previous inpatient or hospital pharmacy experience required Experience in a leadership or supervisory role required Education Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent from an accredited institution Work Hours Monday - Friday Day shifts 40 hours per week Compensation $72+/hour Potential for higher rate based on experience This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking to step into a leadership role within a supportive LTAC hospital environment, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
