Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract An Interim Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) opportunity is available for an immediate start in Chico, CA. This contract role spans approximately 12 to 13 weeks, offering a dynamic schedule with variable shifts to accommodate pharmacy demands.
Key Responsibilities include:
Overseeing daily pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Managing staff performance and workflow to maintain efficient and accurate prescription dispensing. Ensuring proper inventory management and loss prevention controls. Collaborating with healthcare providers and customers to address medication-related inquiries. Maintaining pharmacy records and reports in accordance with legal requirements. Implementing quality assurance protocols to enhance patient safety.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid pharmacist license in good standing. Proven experience as a Pharmacist in Charge, Pharmacy Manager, or in a retail pharmacy setting. In-depth knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
