Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Director of Pharmacy Job Type Contract An interim leadership opportunity is available for a Director of Pharmacy at a 70-bed LTAC hospital in San Diego. This role requires immediate availability and offers a 13-week contract with potential for temp-to-hire.
Location:
El Cajon, CA Schedule:
Monday to Friday Day shifts
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive oversight of pharmacy operations Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for the site Utilize RX Connect for pharmacy IT systems Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards Collaborate with hospital leadership to optimize pharmacy services
Qualifications:
Valid California pharmacist license Proven experience as Director of Pharmacy within California Strong leadership and organizational skills Familiarity with LTAC hospital pharmacy operations preferred
Additional Details:
This is a contract assignment with potential to convert to permanent Support is provided for travel-related expenses, including hotel, car, and flight costs (at cost) This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Director of Pharmacy looking to take on an impactful interim role in a dynamic healthcare setting. Candidates ready to start immediately are encouraged to apply. Compensation for this position ranges from $85.00 to $95.00.
