Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract An experienced Pharmacist In Charge is needed for an interim role starting soon in Chico, CA. This contract opportunity offers the chance to lead pharmacy operations with variable shifts over a 12- to 13-week period, beginning Monday, June 22.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. Manage staff performance and workflow to maintain efficient service delivery. Maintain accurate records and reporting as required by licensing authorities. Ensure excellent patient care and uphold safety standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support optimal medication management.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid pharmacist license with current Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) authorization. Proven leadership experience in retail pharmacy settings. Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to adapt to variable shift schedules and work independently.
