Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist in Charge

Pharmacy Manager/PIC Job Summary:

Independent retail pharmacy located in Pomona, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Manager/PIC to join the team and be in charge of daily pharmacist activities as well as supervising staff with a friendly and positive attitude, and is dependable and self-motivated. The position is a full time, salaried position with some travelling if necessitated.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe work environment by complying with company guidelines and regulations. Keeping the work space clean and organized Communicate with customers, suppliers, and staff by phone, email, or in person Maintain inventory control by verifying product is in stock and accurately inventorying product Prepare and dispense medications by following the current dosage schedules Handle customers with superb communication skills Administer vaccines Supervise interns and assist with preceptor duties Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 year experience as a pharmacist preferred Must be licensed under the California State Board of Pharmacy with license in good standing Experience using the DigitalRX platform preferred Possess knowledge of policies governing the use of Controlled Substance, medication related polices/protocols, evidence of continuous professional training, excellent computer, verbal/written communications, and ability to prioritize is required Must be able to reliably commute to work

Job Type:

Full-time, salaried position.
