Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A well-established community health center pharmacy is urgently seeking a full-time pharmacist to provide immediate coverage. This role presents a unique opportunity to support a busy, well-run retail pharmacy environment that values experienced professionals. Candidates with recent retail or community pharmacy experience will find this assignment rewarding and engaging.
Location:
Visalia, CA Job Type:
Contract (starting ASAP, initially 4 weeks with potential extension)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Responsibilities include: Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently using Rx30 pharmacy system Collaborating with experienced pharmacy technicians to ensure excellent patient care Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies Providing professional counseling to patients regarding medications and health conditions Managing inventory and documentation associated with prescriptions
Desired Qualifications:
Recent experience in retail or community pharmacy settings Licensed pharmacist with current state certification Proficient with pharmacy management systems, especially Rx30 Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
