Department:
The pharmacy at Montrose Regional Health is a health care service, which comprises the art, practice, and profession of choosing, preparing, storing, compounding, and dispensing medicines and medical devices, advising patients, doctors , nurses and other healthcare professionals on their safe, effective and efficient use.
About The Career:
The Pharmacy Supervisor position oversees the day-to-day activities of the pharmacy and personnel. They supervise pharmacists' and technicians' dispensing activities, develop schedules and ensure efficient and safe workflows. Helps cover any sick calls by either pharmacist or technician and assists Pharmacy Director with monthly rounds, annual evaluations and discipline.
All About You :
Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and be licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Colorado. Current Colorado pharmacy intern license required. 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience required. Previous supervisor or management experience in hospital pharmacy and/or hospital pharmacy residency preferred. Previous experience in fostering relationships within the department and with other departments in a hospital setting preferred.
