Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A growing specialty pharmacy focused on the
AIDS/HIV
patient community is seeking two Pharmacy Technicians to join their retail team. This role offers a contract-to-hire opportunity starting immediately with a 13-week initial contract. Candidates must bring a respectful and compassionate approach to serving a sensitive patient population.
Location:
Delray Beach, FL (Oakland Park/Ft. Lauderdale area)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Saturday, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM (flexibility required)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform typical retail pharmacy dispensing duties, including accurate data entry Maintain high attention to patient care, especially for those with
HIV/AIDS
medications Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff and healthcare providers Demonstrate initiative by identifying pharmacy workflow needs and stepping in proactively Uphold a positive attitude and consistent punctuality
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings Experience with
HIV/AIDS
drugs strongly preferred and should be clearly detailed on your resume Proficiency with pharmacy software; QS1 experience is a plus, but training is available Current Florida Pharmacy Technician license required PTCB certification is advantageous but not mandatory
