Category Pharmacy•Staff Pharmacist•Retail Job Type Contract A retail pharmacy is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated pharmacist to provide excellent medication dispensing and patient care services. This contract position requires strong retail pharmacy experience to ensure accuracy, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
Location:
Hollywood, FL Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9:00 AM•6:00
PM Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions Verify prescription information and insurance coverage Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care Maintain pharmacy records and ensure compliance with state and federal laws Manage inventory and oversee pharmacy operations during assigned shifts
Qualifications:
Active pharmacist license in the state of Florida Proven retail pharmacy experience Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulations Excellent communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy This role offers an opportunity to utilize your retail pharmacy skills in a busy, patient-focused environment.
