  • Retail Job Type Per Diem An opportunity is available for an experienced retail Staff Pharmacist to provide per diem coverage at a managed pharmacy located in Brunswick, GA, approximately one hour south of Savannah and north of Jacksonville, FL.
This position requires a Georgia pharmacist license and retail/community pharmacy expertise, particularly in opening, closing, and overseeing pharmacy technicians.
Schedule of coverage:
Monday, 6/22: 8:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM Wednesday, 6/24: 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM Thursday, 6/25: 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM Friday, 6/26: 8:00 AM
  • 3:00 PM Monday, 6/29: 8:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM Responsibilities include supervising and collaborating with a strong pharmacy technician team to ensure efficient day-to-day pharmacy operations.
Experience with the 340B drug pricing program is highly preferred but not mandatory. The pharmacy utilizes the Datascan system by WinPharm, and familiarity or willingness to quickly learn this system will be beneficial.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Georgia pharmacist license required Prior experience in retail/community pharmacy settings Proven ability to open, close, and supervise pharmacy operations and staff Strong communication and leadership skills Experience with 340B program is a plus Comfortable working with Datascan WinPharm system or similar technology This per diem position allows for flexibility and the opportunity to contribute expertise in a well-supported environment.
