Curant Health is searching for an Intake Coordinator to join its team in Smyrna, GA.
Responsibilities:
Accurately performs daily, weekly and monthly scheduled tasks to efficiently input new patients into the pharmacy system. This position is primarily responsible for creating patient records and coordinating all incoming new orders via, phone, fax or web to meet the needs of the department. Code clinical data such as diseases, operations, procedures, and therapies on medical records. By compiling and maintaining patient data to document patient's prescription profile, conditions and treatment, this position serves as a link between patient, physician and pharmacy. Verify insurance. Accurately input necessary data to keep patient records up to date. Provide backup support to team members as needed. Communicate clearly and effectively both in person and on the phone to a variety of audiences including patients, patient care providers, physicians, pharmacists and staff. General administrative support as assigned by manager Qualifications Must be registered in the state of Georgia as a Pharmacy Technician; Certificate is a plus High School Diploma or equivalent At least 2 years of relevant work experience Experience in a retail pharmacy environment is preferred PioneerRx software experience is preferred Why Work for Us?
