Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem Support a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) pharmacy with hands-on pharmacy management and patient care. This per diem opportunity involves working within a managed 340B pharmacy environment located in Brunswick, GA, providing comprehensive retail pharmacy services with the benefit of strong technician support.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage pharmacy operations including opening and closing the facility. Oversee and support pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow. Provide excellent retail/community pharmacy services with attention to accuracy and patient safety. Collaborate within the 340B program framework, contributing to effective medication management and compliance. Utilize Datascan by WinPharm system to process prescriptions accurately.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Active pharmacist license in Georgia (GA) required. Experience in retail or community pharmacy settings, including supervising technicians. Familiarity with 340B pharmacy programs is highly preferred but not mandatory. Ability to manage pharmacy operations independently. Strong organizational and communication skills.
Schedule:
Monday, June 22: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 24: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, June 25: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, June 26: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, June 29: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Location:
Brunswick, GA—approximately one hour south of Savannah, GA, and one hour north of Jacksonville, FL.
