Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A direct hire opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations at a retail pharmacy setting. This role offers the chance to oversee medication procurement and dispensing while ensuring compliance with professional standards and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and assist in the accurate procurement and dispensing of medications. Verify prescribed medications according to facility procedures and state and federal regulations. Achieve business goals and pharmacy performance metrics. Oversee fiscal management to optimize profits and control expenses, collaborating with upper management.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Illinois pharmacist license. Minimum of 2 years of pharmacist experience. Some management experience preferred but not mandatory. Strong understanding of retail pharmacy operations. Commitment to maintaining compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.
Location and Schedule:
Based in Sterling, IL. Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
