Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A permanent opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager at a retail pharmacy in Sterling, IL. This role focuses on overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards, and driving business success within the pharmacy setting.
Responsibilities:
Manage and assist in the procurement and dispensing of medications. Verify prescribed medications in line with professional standards, facility procedures, and state and federal regulations. Achieve business goals and pharmacy performance metrics. Oversee fiscal management to optimize profits and control expenses, working closely with senior management.
Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist in Illinois. Minimum of 2 years pharmacist experience. Some management experience preferred but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and compliance requirements.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This direct hire role offers the chance to lead a vital department within a busy retail environment and contribute to an efficient, customer-focused pharmacy.
