Duration and Structure:
- The program typically spans one year and is structured to provide a well-rounded and immersive experience. Residents engage in various rotations, gaining exposure to different aspects of retail pharmacy practice. 2.
Clinical and Operational Focus:
- Residents undergo training in both clinical and operational aspects of pharmacy management. This includes hands-on experience in medication therapy management, immunizations, health screenings, and other patient care services. 3.
Patient-Centered Care:
- A significant emphasis is placed on delivering patient-centered care. Residents learn to collaborate with healthcare teams, communicate effectively with patients, and optimize medication therapy outcomes. 4.
Preceptorship and Mentorship:

Pharmacy Leadership:

- Required Qualifications
- + You must have applied to this specific program in PhORCAS to be considered for this position + PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health + Pharmacist licensure in the state of Texas within 90 days of hire date
- Preferred Qualifications
- + Background in community pharmacy practice with interest in organizational leadership + Strong communication and presentation skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) + Professionalism and maturity + Ability to travel to clinical sites, training programs, and professional meetings + CVS Health internship or rotation experience

- 40 •Time Type•Full time •Pay Range•The typical pay range for this role is: $30.
