Work Location Lexington, KY Salary Range $50.34/hr•64.08/hr Type of Position Temporary Position Time Status On Call Required Education BS Pharmacy or Pharm D Required Related Experience 0 yrs. Required License/Registration/Certification Licensed or eligible for license as a Pharmacist in Kentucky. Must be licensed in the State of KY on day one of employment and maintained throughout time in position. Physical Requirements May involve repetitive motion tasks, prolonged standing or sitting (often for 8-12 hour shifts), frequent walking, bending, and reaching. Key requirements include lifting up to 25-50 lbs (stock/supplies), fine motor skills for handling small medication items, and clear communication/vision for patient counseling and safety checks. Shift Primarily covering shifts as needed including weekend shifts at the Community Pharmacy and Ryan White Services locations. Must be available to work during operating hours and days of operation which are subject to change based on location of assignment. May be required to work on some holidays which currently are being rotated by Ambulatory Pharmacy Services staff. Some weekend shifts are an expected part of the assignment. Shifts may be at KY Clinic Pharmacy, Beaumont Clinic Pharmacy, and Fountain Court Pharmacist Care Clinic in the Lexington, KY area. Job Summary This position provides patient care in a fast-paced community pharmacy setting across multiple Lexington, KY locations, including KY Clinic Pharmacy, Bluegrass Clinic Pharmacy at the Beaumont Center location, and the Fountain Court Pharmacist Care Team. The pharmacist compounds and dispenses medications pursuant to authorized prescriptions; reviews and interprets prescriptions and medication profiles to ensure safe and appropriate therapy while identifying potential drug interactions; supports specialized programs including the Kentucky AIDS Drug Assistance Program, Ryan White Part C, Pharmacy Partners, and Mail Order services; and manages inventory and technician staff to ensure operational efficiency and high-quality customer service. This role requires flexible shift coverage including weekend and some holiday rotations during operating hours which may vary by location.

This position also requires teamwork, excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate and be understood in the English language.
