Job Description
Job Summary Seeking a Director of Pharmacy to lead pharmacy operations for a community health organization. This individual will serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) and oversee the day-to-day operations, financial performance, compliance, and strategic direction of two outpatient pharmacy locations. The Site Director will work closely with health center leadership and pharmacy operations to ensure high-quality, patient-centered pharmacy services while driving operational excellence and financial performance. Key Responsibilities Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for the pharmacy locations. Manage day-to-day pharmacy, clinical, and business operations. Oversee pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Coach, mentor, and develop team members to ensure operational success. Manage pharmacy purchasing and inventory to balance patient needs and cost controls. Oversee 340B program operations, purchasing, and compliance. Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy regulations and standards. Develop and maintain pharmacy policies and procedures. Partner with finance teams to review and manage pharmacy financial performance. Prepare and present operational and performance reports to leadership. Collaborate with health center leadership to improve patient access and pharmacy services. Support quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence efforts. Maintain a strong patient-centered approach to care delivery. Qualifications Current, active Washington Pharmacist License. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program. Minimum 5 years of retail or outpatient pharmacy leadership experience. Experience Previous supervisory or management experience. Experience working with Medicaid and Medicare populations. Experience working within Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). Knowledge of 340B programs and compliance. Experience working with PBMs and third-party payers. Experience working with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Experience serving underserved or vulnerable patient populations. Skills Strong communication, leadership, and team development skills. Strong business, financial, and analytical skills. Knowledge of Washington Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Bilingual skills are a plus.
