Job Description

Overview Correct Rx Pharmacy Services, Inc., a recognized leader in institutional pharmacy services, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director to lead the Pharmacy Distribution Center (PDC), supporting the Massachusetts State Office for Pharmacy Services (SOPS) contract. This leadership role is responsible for the overall performance, efficiency, and compliance of the PDC, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and timely pharmacy services within a complex, high-volume healthcare environment. The PDC Director will foster a culture of operational excellence, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement while developing and leading a highly engaged, high-performing team. Responsibilities and Duties
  • Ensure overall performance, efficiency, and operational excellence of the Pharmacy Distribution Center
  • Provide leadership and oversight of all PDC operations, including medication fulfillment, distribution, inventory management, and logistics
  • Ensure full compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and accreditation requirements, with a strong focus on patient safety and quality
  • Lead KPI management, performance monitoring, and operational reporting to support contract performance and continuous improvement
  • Promote and sustain a culture of patient safety, accountability, and continuous quality improvement across all PDC functions
  • Develop and optimize staffing models to support 24/7 operations and ensure service level expectations are consistently achieved
  • Provide strategic oversight of inventory management and logistics operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and cost control
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of automation, technology solutions, and workflow enhancements within the PDC
  • Leverage data analytics and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making and operational improvements
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant medication distribution across all supported facilities
  • Maintain strong, transparent communication with SOPS leadership, ensuring alignment, responsiveness, and trust
  • Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing leadership team, fostering professional growth and accountability
  • Ensure readiness for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews Education & Credentials
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing, or ability to obtain license in Massachusetts, preferred
