Retail Pharmacist in Baltimore, MD Soliant - 3.9 Baltimore, MD Job Details Temporary | Full-time | Contract | Per diem $51 - $65 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Retail pharmacy experience Licensed Pharmacist (State-Specific) Doctor of Pharmacy Licensed Pharmacist Full Job Description Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a full-time pharmacist to provide coverage during a colleague's leave of absence at a well-established outpatient pharmacy site. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on delivering excellent patient care.
Location:
Baltimore, MD Main site: Belair-Edison Family Health Center Pharmacy site: Yard 56, 5525 Eastern Avenue Ste. 104
Schedule/Hours:
Day shift, Monday through Saturday Per diem availability: 1-2 days per week as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily outpatient pharmacy operations including supervising pharmacy technicians Provide thorough patient counseling and support Administer vaccines and immunizations as part of preventative care services Maintain compliance with 340B program guidelines (knowledge highly preferred) Utilize pharmacy software (ScriptPro training available) for prescription processing Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience required Ability to thrive in a fast-paced pharmacy setting Spanish language skills are a strong plus and beneficial for patient communication Must possess a valid Maryland pharmacist license Strong organizational and interpersonal skills for managing a pharmacy team This is a contract role with flexible start dates in late September or October, ideal for pharmacists seeking temporary full-time work with potential for extension.
