Job Description
Overview Coborn's Inc. is hiring a motivated and strategically focused Long Term Care Operations Manager to lead and support the daily operations of our growing Long Term Care pharmacy business. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, values operational excellence, and is passionate about building strong relationships with both internal teams and Long-Term Care partners. As an employee-owner, you will play a meaningful role in driving innovation, improving operational efficiencies, and supporting the growth of a business dedicated to serving patients and care facilities with excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the daily operations of the Long Term Care pharmacy business to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and exceptional customer service. Collaborate with Pharmacy Operations, Pharmacy Managers, staff, and vendors to maintain and improve operational capabilities. Evaluate current workflows and recommend process improvements that enhance operational performance and scalability. Manage inventory levels to align with department goals, regulatory requirements, and customer demand. Ensure accurate and timely completion of accounts receivable processes, insurance billing, and patient/facility statements. Oversee daily administrative functions including scheduling, timekeeping, reporting, supply management, and customer call support. Maintain and troubleshoot pharmacy automation equipment and related software systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Coordinate installation, configuration, upgrades, and ongoing support of Long Term Care operational technology systems. Build and strengthen relationships with Long Term Care facilities, healthcare systems, clinics, and strategic business partners. Ensure compliance with Minnesota Board of Pharmacy regulations, including proper management and oversight of Emergency Kits (EKits). Provide direct leadership, coaching, and performance oversight to Long Term Care Lead Technicians, Fill Technicians, and Delivery Drivers. Qualifications:
Education/Experience Bachelor s Degree in Business Management or related field preferred and two to four years of related experience. A general understanding of pharmacy services and healthcare is preferred. Experience using data-driven and empirical analytics to develop and implement process improvement initiatives is preferred. Certificates and Licenses State Board of Pharmacy Technician License in the State in which the Long Term Care Pharmacy Operations Manager is employed.
