Job Description
Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems is a healthcare facility located in Hayti, Mo that offers a variety if services including emergency care, urgent care, and diagnostic testing services. The organization is dedicated to delivering the best possible care to every patient. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team . As a Pharmacist and Director of the department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications by providing pharmaceutical care to patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about patient care and has experience in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Dispensing medications to inpatients.
- Ensuring the safe and effective use of drugs.
- Compounding and preparing medications.
- Monitor patients responses to drug therapy.
- Providing drug information to healthcare providers and patients.
Experience:
- Compounding medications
- Strong Knowledge of Pharmacy Practices, Pharmaceutical Care and Medicine.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records and Pharmacy systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with a team environment.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
- Registered Pharmacist (RPh) licensure in Missouri is required.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
