Kansas City, MO Schedule:

Monday-Friday Rotating shifts between 8:00 AM and 5:30

PM Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting patients in person and via phone, addressing medication and insurance inquiries Accurately process prescriptions—data entry, insurance billing, and labeling—handling approximately 150 prescriptions daily Support non-sterile compounding activities with provided training, preparing medications per established protocols and safety standards Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and ensure timely medication dispensing Manage inventory, stock medications, and maintain organized pharmacy supplies storage

Qualifications:

Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician License required Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy technician experience PTCB certification is a plus but not mandatory Positive team player with determination and strong communication skills This contract-to-permanent role provides valuable exposure to PioneerRx pharmacy software and a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting.
