Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Pharmacy to lead our pharmacy services in St. Louis, MO a dynamic healthcare environment. Interim DOP needed to open up a new pharmacy, details below
Licensed Beds :
starting with only 12 but licensed for 96
Position:
Interim Director of Pharmacy; might need PICbut have it covered for now Skills required : Inpatient Behavioral Health, Pyxis Missouri Pharmacist license plus Medication Therapy Services Dates of Coverage needed : start July 6th and cover ongoing until perm hired (~6+ weeks) Coverage Hours needed : Monday-Friday 8am-4pm plus on-call, additional help might be needed during startup Weekend coverage needed: On-call only
Order Entry System:
HCS, will be trained
Site Automation :
Pyxis; experience required
Staff Size :
no other pharmacy staff, no tech support
Site Background/History:
New site, anticipated go-live 7/13/26
Job Responsibilities/Expectation:
Communication c-suite and Area DOP ontinue Pharmacy Setup, Procure and Package Medications, Stock Pyxis, Order verification once patients onsite No sterile compounding involved HR credentials required prior to start: Drug screen HIPA Background check License Flu vaccine (during season) TB•can complete onsite CPR/First Aid•can complete onsite
Pay:
$60.00•$62.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have a MO pharmacist license? Do you have DOP experience? Can you start on 7/5 for training? Do you have out patient pharmacy experience?
