Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire A respected behavioral health and long-term care pharmacy provider is seeking a Temp to Hire Pharmacist in Southern Montana. This is a daytime weekday schedule offering a consistent workflow and an opportunity to transition into a permanent role. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, adaptable, and comfortable working in a retail or long-term care pharmacy setting. Travel assistance can be considered for non-local candidates. Responsibilities Dispense medications prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners. Provide clear and accurate medication counseling to patients and caregivers. Ensure accuracy and compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations. Maintain proper documentation and medication records. Deliver a high level of customer service and patient care. Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to support patient outcomes. Work Hours Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM 40 hours per week Qualifications Active Montana Pharmacist License (required). Retail or Long-Term Care pharmacy experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Experience Previous experience in retail pharmacy or long-term care pharmacy preferred. Experience providing patient medication counseling strongly preferred.
