Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying medication orders for infusion therapies, overseeing sterile compounded medication preparation and dispensing, ensuring strict compliance with USP and standards, and providing clinical support along with drug information to both staff and patients. The pharmacist will collaborate closely with the pharmacy team to maintain workflow efficiency and uphold patient safety, while ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance. The schedule is flexible with a few days each week, with additional dates to be confirmed.

Desired qualifications and experience:

Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy practice Strong expertise in sterile compounding techniques In-depth knowledge of USP and guidelines Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to changing demands Candidates with a Retail Pharmacy background will also be considered for contract assignments while the infusion pharmacist search is underway.
