Job Description

What We Offer Pharmacy Operations Coordinator Presbyterian Medical Center - Charlotte, NC Monday-Friday between 8AM-5PM Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our leadership team as a Pharmacy Operations Coordinator . This leadership position is designed to support key departmental initiatives and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on medication safety, compliance, operational excellence, and diversion prevention efforts across the department. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated leadership, project management, and collaboration skills Experience with medication safety, compliance, quality improvement, or pharmacy operations initiatives preferred Strong communication and change management abilities What You'll Do Support and advance medication safety initiatives Lead and coordinate diversion prevention efforts Assist with implementation of Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee changes Drive compliance and regulatory optimization initiatives Collaborate with pharmacy leadership on operational priorities Serve as an active member of the Pharmacy Leadership Team Support continuous quality improvement and process enhancement projects Oversees pharmacy operations and technician practice/activities Maintains proficiency in preceptor roles and actively emulates education/ mentorship skills All other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For Education :
4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification. PharmD, preferred.
Experience :
Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy. Oncology experience preferred for oncology roles, required.
For Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship roles:
ASHP - accredited PGY2 Infectious Disease residency OR minimum of 2 years of equivalent clinical pharmacy experience in infectious diseases/antimicrobial stewardship, required.
Licensure/Certification:
Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required. Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification or other approved certification must be obtained and continuously maintained within 2 years of start date as applicable to the role, required. Additional Skills (required): Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed.
