Full Time Pharmacy Job Description Job Summary :
Responsible for day-to-day operations to meet pharmaceutical needs of the organization and patients within CaroMont Medical Group (CMG). Provides leadership for regulatory compliance, staff supervision, scheduling, and staff training. Provides pharmacy services in collaboration with health care team to optimize high value pharmaceutical care and support of quality metrics, managed care contracts and government programs. Supports System Pharmacy initiatives as they pertain to standard work in the ambulatory care environment. Provides daily financial and inventory support for each practice site within CMG. Maintains open communication and reporting with System Pharmacy leadership. Willingness to travel to offices as needed to meet provider/department needs. Support the tenants of high reliability by influencing and supporting leadership of the multi-disciplinary team to promote a safe patient environment across the continuum of pharmaceutical care.Qualifications :
BS in pharmacy or PharmD from an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy. Current N.C. pharmacist license required. S.C. Pharmacist license preferred. PGY1 pharmacy residency or 3 years of ambulatory pharmacy experience preferred. Ambulatory residency preferred. Minimum of three years of pharmacy experience in a clinical setting. Ambulatory setting preferred. Minimum of one year leadership experience required. Board certification required within 12 months of hire. Thorough knowledge of pharmacy terminology, procedures, and policies. Considerable ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the multidisciplinary health care team.
