Retail IV Sterile Compounding Staff Pharmacist in Winston-Salem, NC RPh on the Go - 4.1 Winston-Salem, NC Job Details Temp-to-hire 13 hours ago Qualifications Licensed Pharmacist (State-Specific) Doctor of Pharmacy Licensed Pharmacist Full Job Description Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced pharmacist with a solid background in both sterile and non-sterile compounding within a specialty retail environment. The role offers a 13-week contract-to-hire position, providing a chance to transition into a permanent staff pharmacist role.
Location:
Winston-Salem, NC Schedule:
Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM 1-hour lunch break
Responsibilities:
Manage and dispense prescriptions accurately in a specialty retail setting Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding following safety and quality standards Utilize PK order entry system (training provided) to process prescriptions efficiently Counsel patients on medication use and safety Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience required North Carolina pharmacy license mandatory Experience with sterile compounding highly valued Non-sterile compounding experience considered a strong asset Familiarity or willingness to learn PK order entry system This position combines a structured daytime schedule with the engaging responsibilities of specialty retail pharmacy practice, offering growth potential in a supportive environment.
