  • Retail Job Type Contract This part-time retail pharmacist opportunity offers a dynamic role within a grocery store pharmacy setting in Omaha, Nebraska. The assignment is ongoing and based on a contract, with a flexible two-week rotating schedule designed to align with both candidate availability and pharmacy needs. Location Omaha, Nebraska Schedule Week 1: Sunday 10:00 AM
  • 2:00 PM, Tuesday 9:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM (24 hours total) Week 2: Tuesday 9:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM (17 hours total) Schedule adjustments may be available to accommodate personal needs Responsibilities Verify prescriptions with precision to ensure accuracy and safety Provide thorough patient counseling to support medication understanding and adherence Oversee pharmacy workflow and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment Qualifications Active pharmacist license in Nebraska in good standing Recent experience in retail pharmacy preferred for smooth integration Strong communication skills coupled with a customer-focused approach Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Flexibility to adapt the schedule as needed for pharmacy and personal requirements Experience with McKesson Enterprise preferred but not mandatory This role provides the chance to contribute your expertise to a pharmacy focused on quality patient care and operational excellence.
