Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Director of Pharmacy Job Type Direct Hire Lead the pharmacy operations of a specialized critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing exceptional inpatient post-ICU care. This full-time Director of Pharmacy role is based in Willingboro, NJ, within a 69-bed facility staffed by a compassionate team of over 180 caregivers serving the greater Philadelphia area. The ideal candidate will oversee clinical, operational, and financial pharmacy functions, collaborating closely with executive leadership and clinical teams to ensure quality patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct all pharmacy operations including clinical services, staffing, administration, and budget management. Collaborate with the CEO and interdisciplinary teams to support the hospital's mission and cultural values. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high-quality standards. Lead and mentor pharmacy staff to promote professional growth and high performance Implement innovative solutions to improve pharmacy services and patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Completion of all educational requirements for state licensure and current licensure in state of practice. Minimum of three years of hospital pharmacy experience within the last five years. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification if required by the state.
Preferred:
PharmD or BS Pharmacy plus advanced degree or completion of a hospital pharmacy residency. At least one year in a managerial or leadership role preferred. Board Certification and/or residency completion highly desirable.

Compensation:
$130,000 - $160,000 annually, based on experience
