Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to play an integral role in launching a new outpatient pharmacy in Newark, NJ. This position offers the chance to work within a community-focused retail pharmacy setting, serving a diverse patient population and contributing to an expanding healthcare organization's growing footprint across New Jersey.

Monday through Saturday Day shifts
Full-time Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in processing and dispensing prescriptions accurately Enter and maintain patient and prescription information with precision Support inventory management and medication ordering processes Process insurance claims and assist with resolving billing issues Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Pharmacy Technician registration/license in New Jersey required Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience PTCB Certification preferred but not mandatory Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred Experience with pharmacy management systems such as PrimeRx or MicroMerchant is a plus Excellent communication and customer service skills Why This Role?
