Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract Support the launch of a new outpatient pharmacy serving a diverse community in Newark, NJ, as a Pharmacy Technician. This role plays a vital part in a community-focused healthcare setting, assisting pharmacists and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. The opening of this new retail pharmacy in August marks an exciting chapter for a growing healthcare organization with plans for continued expansion across New Jersey.

Saturday Day Shift Full-Time Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and dispensing Accurately enter and maintain patient and prescription records Support inventory control and medication ordering processes Process insurance claims and address billing inquiries Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Qualifications:
Active New Jersey Pharmacy Technician registration/license Minimum one year of retail pharmacy experience PTCB Certification preferred but not required Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred Experience with PrimeRx, MicroMerchant, or similar pharmacy management software is a plus Excellent communication and customer service skills Why This Role?
