This is an exciting full-time contract-to-hire opportunity for a licensed Pharmacist passionate about serving diverse and underserved patient populations. The pharmacy is scheduled to open in August, and you will be instrumental in establishing operations from inception, with significant potential for long-term career advancement as the organization expands its pharmacy services throughout the region.

Full-Time Monday through

Saturday Day Shift Hours:

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday-only candidates will also be considered

Responsibilities:

Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions Provide medication counseling and patient education to optimize therapeutic outcomes Collaborate with healthcare providers to address patient medication needs Manage prescription processing, insurance issues, and medication access challenges Maintain compliance with state, federal, and organizational pharmacy regulations Support quality initiatives, pharmacy workflow, and patient care programs Cultivate a supportive, patient-centered environment

Qualifications:

Active New Jersey Pharmacist License required 1-2+ years of experience in community, retail, ambulatory care, or outpatient pharmacy Experience in community health settings, 340B programs, or underserved populations highly preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred Familiarity with PrimeRx, MicroMerchant, or similar pharmacy management systems is a plus Strong clinical knowledge, communication skills, and patient care orientation Why This Role?
