Director of Pharmacy in Summit, NJ RPh on the Go - 4.1 Summit, NJ Job Details Contract $65 - $70 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Registered Pharmacist (RPh) Operations coordination Licensed Pharmacist (State-Specific) Doctor of Pharmacy Licensed Pharmacist Healthcare policy implementation Pharmacy operations Full Job Description Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy / Pharmacy-in-Charge (PIC) for an 8+ week contract opportunity in Summit, NJ. This role requires leadership capabilities in pharmacy operations, with a focus on management and policy implementation within a healthcare setting.
Schedule and Coverage:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM On-call coverage after each weekday shift Weekend on-call coverage only
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee pharmacy meetings and coordination of pharmacy schedules Manage and verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance Provide leadership and support in pharmacy operations without involvement in sterile compounding Assist with pharmacy policy development and implementation
Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist in New Jersey Proven experience as a Director of Pharmacy or PIC Knowledge of Healthcare Compliance Systems (HCS) Experience with pharmacy policy development and enforcement Strong organizational and communication skills This contract position offers the chance to apply your pharmacy leadership skills while supporting critical pharmacy functions.
