Category Pharmacy•Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract A retail pharmacy operation is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager for an immediate opening at their Ogdensburg, NY location. This contract position offers an opportunity to lead pharmacy services with a focus on compliance, financial management, and patient care.

Sundays Responsibilities:

Register with the state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge. Ensure the pharmacy complies with federal, state, and company regulations and policies. Manage all pharmacy operations, including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration to achieve financial goals. Lead business development initiatives within the store and local community. Oversee pharmacy support staff performance, training, and adherence to compliance standards. Promote patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management, and wellness programs. Provide counseling to patients and healthcare providers regarding medications, usage, interactions, and side effects. Maintain continuous quality improvement programs to safeguard patient safety. Keep workstations and department facilities organized, clean, and compliant with company standards. Complete mandatory continuing education and any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Valid New York State pharmacist license required. Immunization certification is required, with confidence in administering all vaccines. Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager is preferred. This opportunity offers contract duration flexibility with potential for permanent placement. Relocation assistance is available for permanent candidates.
