Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract A Pharmacy Manager position is available in Oneonta, NY, offering an opportunity for either an interim or permanent placement. This role requires a self-driven professional skilled in managing pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

Closed Key Responsibilities:
Register with the state board of pharmacy as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies. Oversee pharmacy operations including financial goals, budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management. Engage in business development within the store and local community. Manage pharmacy support personnel, including performance reviews and training. Ensure all pharmacy associates complete required company training and adhere to regulatory policies. Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness programs. Counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug usage, interactions, side effects, and therapy management. Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives for patient safety. Maintain a clean, organized workstation and department. Fulfill continuing education requirements and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Valid New York State Pharmacy License. Immunization Certification with comfort administering all vaccines (required). Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager is preferred. This contract assignment offers a leadership role in a dynamic pharmacy environment. Qualified candidates ready to take on this responsibility are encouraged to apply.
