ASAP Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with store operations and pharmacy associates to drive engagement and align with company strategies. Verify the accuracy of prescriptions through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, adhering to state and federal regulations. Lead the department to achieve profitability and increase prescription volume through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Coordinate with the pharmacy District Manager to control inventory by monitoring sales and ordering stock accordingly. Establish and track performance objectives based on seven key department metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Provide high-quality customer service, including counseling on medical-related concerns and resolving issues promptly. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, overseeing training, coaching, and discipline. Ensure pharmacy security and maintain a clean, organized department environment. Manage customer complaints and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers for prescription-related matters. Oversee daily pharmacy operations including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D degree required Current and active New York State Pharmacist License This is a direct hire opportunity offering a critical role in retail pharmacy management with variable shifts to provide flexibility. Candidates ready to contribute leadership and operational expertise are encouraged to apply promptly. Compensation for this position ranges from $62.00 to $80.00.
